Ballston Spa High School Announces the Class of 2025 Valedictorian and Salutatorian

Audrey Bedell: Valedictorian of the Class of 2025
Audrey Bedell is the class of 2025 Valedictorian of Ballston Spa High School. She has excelled in a rigorous course load and will receive a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation and Honors with Mastery in Mathematics and Science. By starting high school level courses in middle school, Audrey was able to enroll in sixteen college and honors level courses. Audrey’s cumulative GPA is a remarkable 99.508.
Audrey is a member of both National Honor Society and Tri-M Honor Society. She is also an active member and three-time medalist for Science Olympiad. She has participated in dance since the second grade and assists in teaching younger students. She has played the viola in the Symphonic Orchestra, Pit Orchestra, at All-County and NYSSMA.
Audrey is a well-rounded individual who will be pursuing Biomedical Engineering at her post-secondary institution of choice. Ballston Spa knows Audrey will be successful in her future, due to her intelligence, work ethic, and personal drive.
Christine Jiang: Salutatorian of the Class of 2025
Christine is the Class of 2025 Salutatorian of Ballston Spa High School. She has excelled in a rigorous and challenging course load and will receive a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation and Honors with Mastery in Mathematics and Science. Christine began taking college level courses in middle school, which helped her enroll in twenty college level, AP, honors and International Baccalaureate classes. Christine is an International Baccalaureate Diploma Program Candidate. Christine’s cumulative GPA is an outstanding 99.23.
In addition to being a member of the Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field teams, Christine serves as the Secretary for the National Honor Society. Christine is also an active member of the Tri-M Music Honor Society, Students Helping Students and True Crime Club. Additionally, Christine has worked at a restaurant as a server for the past three years.
Christine will be attending college in the fall, majoring in Political Science. Ballston Spa is confident that Christine will be successful in her future endeavors due to her empathetic nature, passion for learning, leadership skills and determination to succeed.
