New High School Traffic Flow and Safety Measures
Dear Parents and Guardians,
To significantly improve traffic flow and enhance safety during the busy arrival and dismissal periods, we are implementing important changes to the campus traffic pattern and adding new safety measures.
These changes will go into effect on Monday, October 20th.
Key Change: One-Way Traffic Flow During Dismissal
During afternoon dismissal (parent pick-up time), our main campus road will become one-way only.
-
You must now enter the campus using the entrance closest to the digital sign (the standard parent pick-up entrance). There is to be no parent pick up in the faculty lot.
-
The high school entrance will be used only for exiting the campus. You will not be permitted to enter through the High School entrance during dismissal.
This change is designed to eliminate opposing traffic, reduce congestion, and create a safer route for everyone using the parent pick-up line.
New Safety Measure: Speed Bumps
To ensure appropriate speeds are maintained in our parking lots and driveways, speed bumps will be installed at strategic locations across the front parking lots.
-
Please be mindful of these new additions, slow down, and adhere to stop signs at all times while on school grounds.
Thank you for helping us keep our school community safe. Click here for more information and a map of the change in traffic pattern.
Sincerely,
Matthew Robinson
HS Principal
