Spa Academy

Spa Academy is an alternative learning program at Ballston Spa Central Schools. It is designed for students who do not have success in a regular high school building and need extra support. In order to participate in the program there must be a recommendation from the student's counselor and/or administrator. After a meeting with all stakeholders the student will be programmed for Spa Academy and will transition into the program. There is currently a pause on enrollment in the program for the 24-25 school year and only current 10th and 11th graders will be enrolled in the program. 

The program is currently housed in neighboring classrooms in the high school building and with a delayed start and end time. The school day for Spa Academy begins at 11 and ends at 3:15. Spa Academy will function on a two day rotating schedule. The teachers for the program are listed below:

ELA - Sean Lyons
History - Jodi Brimhall
Science - Eric Garippa
Math - Matt Lopez
Art - Jonathan Coleman
PE - Tyler Williamson

The students will have HS school counselors and will be working with administrators based on their grade level.
